A flower seller near a temple. She sits in the pavement near the temple in mornings and evenings making these sales. I walked away wondering how much she would be earning through this.
Faces of India, a series through which I intend to portray the various characters of my country. See more

Such a colorful capture! Her face is wonderful and like so many of your Faces of India, there is story there, in their eyes, in their expressions! Thank you for sharing, Indrani! Enjoy your weekend!
I like the determined expression on the face of this woman. This is a marvelous portrait.
I really like this series Indrani, this is a wonderful photo...she is so strong and her eyes have so much expression. Is she sad? She is not defeated.Great portrait. I would buy this book when you make it.
I agree with the comment about her determined expression. Great portrait.

A lovely image, Indrani. And I wonder the same.
A flower and a person pass each other - both smile.
A familiar sight in 'Little India' here. In no time, these ladies /men have a garland of flowers ready for our needs.
I wonder, to. That is a powerful image. All soul!
Lovely picture. The lady is neat and bright. Selling flowers on the pavement for a living is tough.
Your portraits are always very well done.
I'm sure this woman works very hard and receives little compensation. It seems very unfair to me.
Strong beautiful face. Hejira?

I sincerely find the Indian beauty world-class! The face is so prominent with very gorgeous features. Perhaps even the most simple man or woman would look so handsome! :D
Beautiful portrait.
Great portrait.
