There, in the rocky island of Mont St. Michel grew plenty of wild flowers; these drenched tulips caught my attention. The rocky mountainside off the coast of Normandy had patches of colors here and there but nothing to beat the bright patch between the cloisters at the top, that was a well maintained garden. As I walked down Grande Rue, I paused to marvel how the wild plants were trying to carve out a life in the rocky mountainside. The rocky terrain is tough and add to that salty breeze from the seas. Yet they survive, uncared for, adding beauty in their own way!
